Allison TOur family’s lake home was really outdated and in need of major remodeling and repairs. Thank you Allen Scott for the gorgeous new windows, siding, doors and hardwood floors. The best part is the new kitchen custom cabinets where all the doors and drawers now work and a bonus dishwasher too! We love it. My personal favorite part is bigger sliding doors/windows = a better view of my favorite place.

Tom & MarshaMy wife and I met with a couple different builders before choosing to work with ASC. The first thing that stood out was Scott’s suggestion to come visit our site in person for our first meeting. The experience we had up until that point was most builders would want to meet over the phone or at their office. Scott’s approach made everything more personable from the very beginning. We were very honest with Scott that we had never been through a building process before and Scott took that feedback and helped us every step of the way and made sure we understood each step before moving ahead. Scott never hesitated to walk the site to look at something if we were unsure of our vision. His expertise and guidance were invaluable to us.
The further we got into the project we also realized Bonnie is someone who will help with anything if you ask, even if you’re not sure if she’s the right person for it. She helped us with everything from meeting to pick out interior fixtures, paints, features, etc. to installing a final cabinet door that was reworked for us. She was always prepared for our meetings with printed photos from our vision board and either came with samples of product from our vision board or had their vendors prepared with samples for us to help guide us through material selections.
Our project broke ground in early October and we were moved in by June. ASC had everything ordered and scheduled to be delivered at the right time so we didn’t have anything that slowed the project significantly. What was most impressive was watching all the crews they brought out to secure our site before winter weather came and how quickly they pivoted once it did come. All the attention shifted to the interior of our home so the work never slowed or halted through the winter months. Our site manager, Harry, was always at the site and very friendly and helpful whenever my wife and I stopped at the site to see progress.
In all, ASC was excellent to work with. Everyone is very friendly, professional, and overall fun people to work with. My wife and I would recommend ASC to anyone looking to build their forever home.

When we had issues with our lot (no fault of theirs, just a challenging property) they were right there to help us solve them. All the Allen Scott employees are wonderful and we enjoyed working with them. BarbaraWe began the process of building a new villa in Sandalwood Trails development in October, 2021. ASC was the company building the homes for the development and while we have never had experience with them prior we were very pleased with the working relationship, constant communication, timely responses, and overall experience. Scott Shrider sat down with us initially and we began the process of designing the house using a set model and then adding our modifications. As always, we made changes, more modifications, and additions along the way and was always met with positive responses. Many times I emailed Scott early morning before 7:00 am and would get a response and usually an answer sometime later that day. I had the same experience with Bonnie Bolin in his office who was our point person and felt she made the entire process much easier, shared her expertise and past experiences, which helped us tremendously. I would recommend ASC for your project whether building a home in Sandalwood Trails (yes come be our neighbor), a new build in another location, or perhaps remodeling, or an addition.
Constant Communication
CindyAllen Scott Construction was recommended along with a couple other home builders when we were thinking about adding on to our home. After playing around with our own design ideas we knew what we wanted and made appointments to meet with contractors. Immediately we could see that Allen Scott really made an effort to honor our wishes, but also professionally offered their advice. He was thorough, conscientious, and very involved with every step along the way. The subcontractors they used were professional and made sure we were happy with the 'details' (blending ceilings to match, outlet and wall placement, cleanup). We are still very please with the decision we made to add on to our older home and would highly recommend ASC.

First, good character, Scott and the contractors he works with are honest and hard working. Second, communication, Scott and Brian are easily accessible and responds to phone calls and emails in a timely manner. Third, flexible, ASC has been more than willing to come in at times that work better for our agency, which makes having remodeling done less intrusive and disruptive. Great Characteristics
LukeAllen Scott made the effort to contact us as the Civil Engineer and Surveyor for the subdivision of Longmeadow. They wanted to understand the drainage plan for the roadway as it affected the homesite there crew was working on. It is very unusual for a home builder to see the bigger picture of how the homesite fits into a subdivision or condo. I was impressed with Allen Scott and their professionalism.
